Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is an Escape Room?

An Escape Room is a live game where players are in a room (not physically locked in) and have to find clues, solve puzzles, and use the elements in the room to figure things out. The goal is to escape the room in the allotted time given. Escape Rooms are sweeping the world because they are so fun and different. They do not require outside knowledge. Everything you need to solve the puzzles will be in the room. Each game has a "Game Master" who can see and hear you. If your team gets stuck or needs clues, they will help you. If you've never done an escape room before, you must come and check us out!

Is there an age limit?

While there isn't a specific age limit, due to the complexities of the game, we recommend that guests be at least 10 years or older. Players under 15 years old need to have adequate adult supervision. Our escape games are designed to be immersive experiences, featuring a variety of puzzles crafted primarily for adults and teenagers. Here are our guidelines regarding age:

Children under 15 years old are absolutely welcome to join the adventure, but any group that includes players under the age of 15 must have at least one adult participating in the game with them. While puzzles are designed with older players in mind, younger team members often bring a fresh perspective and can contribute unique ideas. As it’s truly a team game, younger players will need the help and collaboration of older kids and adults to successfully navigate some of the challenges, making it a truly collaborative and fun experience for everyone.

However, it’s crucial to understand that our games are not designed for very young children and are not play areas. For their safety and to ensure the integrity of our game elements, young children must be closely supervised by an adult at ALL times.

If they are not being adequately supervised, an adult from your party will be asked to remove them from the game, and no refunds will be issued in such instances. Please make other arrangements if you do not believe you can supervise your children and play the game at the same time.

What time do I need to arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your game so our friendly staff can go over the details of your adventure, and answer any questions before the game starts. Each game lasts at least 60 minutes (more depending on the game), and then of course, you will want a few minutes afterwards for pictures in the lobby. If your team is late in arriving, and there are games booked after yours, we will need to start the next game as scheduled, so you could lose time in your game. Please be on time!

Refunds & Cancellations

Once a booking is completed, refunds will not be given. We will however move your booking to a different date or time with at least 48 hours notice.

An additional rescheduling fee will apply for less than 48 hours of notice.

No shows will not be refunded.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we require booking in advance. We are a small operation and bookings must be made at least 90 minutes in advance.

What happens if I'm late?

Our escape rooms operate on a predetermined schedule, and it is essential for all players to be present and prepared by their scheduled start time. To ensure an optimal experience for everyone, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to handle parking, restroom use, and to get settled before the game begins.

Please be aware that if you arrive late, the timer for the game will start without you, and you may not receive the full allotted time. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds or compensation for late arrivals.

If you are running late, give us a call at (904) 375-1721 so we can see if we can make any adjustments.
